ONE-on-ONE FRENCH Tutoring
One on One: French
Our One on One online tutoring program is offered in 45 minutes for students in Pre-K through 12. Students will be tutored and given individual learning style and support in their grade-level as set out by Alberta Education.
For this class, we will provide our students with complimentary worksheets and resources, but students must purchase their workbooks externally (Copies are available on amazon).
Pre-K - Grade 1
French General Reading Program (includes some writing and speaking)
Reading in French is an essential skill for understanding and mastering the language.
Our online reading program consists of 45 minutes of one on one reading via video conference, for children in kindergarten to grade 3. Children enrolled in individual tutoring benefit from having focused reading sessions that target problem areas that are unique to their style of learning. This specialized program includes eight courses, which we classify as F1 to F8 and the duration of each course is 12 weeks.
Student learning is heavily focused on French sounds, pronunciation, and simple and complex phonics. By the end of this session, students will be able to decode words, understand sentence structure, and read fluently in French, thereby gaining confidence in reading, writing, and speaking French.

Vocabulary Reading Program
Children are learning new words everyday. French is no different. Our online Vocabulary Program offers four courses which we classify as V1, V2, ,V3, and V4 to cater to different levels of vocabulary learning. Each session occurs via video-conferencing.
During one-on-one sessions, students will gain a high quality of interaction where he or she feels heard. The instructor can also gauge the best ways to ensure the student’s mastery of vocabulary and spend more time on words and pronunciations that may be more difficult.
By the end of the courses, students will learn the words they need to boost their elementary school vocabulary and lead conversations more confidently. Vocabulary development is a fundamental part of improving reading skills and enrollment in this program is a good investment in French education, overall.

Students hoping to improve their overall performance in French are encouraged to enroll in our French
online tutoring program for individuals. Each session occurs via video conference and lasts for 45 minutes. Students will benefit from having assistance that is tailored to his or her learning needs in a low stress environment, allowing for better language performance and an overall improvement in French.
Our online French tutoring sessions help students with French vocabulary, spelling, speaking, writing, phonetics, reading and comprehension. Students will also be given additional practice worksheets each week to complete independently.

Our Reading and comprehension program for individuals does not only focus on pronunciation and sound, but it places emphasis on understanding. Students will engage in an interactive reading session online, that will include several questions to assess the understanding of the text that is read. The instructor will adapt to the student’s learning style to optimize the best communication style. By the end of the session, students will develop an advanced ability to read French text and have discussions that extend beyond the stories.
