FRENCH BASIC COURSES
The French Basic Courses includes three programs, called PRE-READING PROGRAM, INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM and INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM 2.
The PRE-READING PROGRAM is an introduction to the reading program.
The INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM I includes three classes, which we classify as F1, F2, and F3.
The INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM 2 includes two classes which we classify as F4 and F5.
PRE-READING PROGRAM

Our Introduction to Reading program is a total of 16 hours beginner classes, where in students learn the alphabets (recognition and pronunciation) numbers, and vocabulary specific to colors, days,months and shape includes which we classify as F1, F2, and F3.
INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM I

This program includes three classes, which we classify as F1, F2, and F3. This intensive program is primarily for older students and adults. Each session is a total of 16 hours. By the end of this sessions, students will be able to read, speak and write at the beginner level, as classified by the world-renowned system of certification. Emphasis is placed on a broad French vocabulary (including simple diphthongs). At the end of this program, students will gain confidence in reading, writing and speaking French at a beginner leve
INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM 2

This program includes two classes, which we classify as F4, F5, and is the follow-up program to Intensive Reading I. While this program also focuses on vocabulary, the focal point hinges on students’ ability to read and write full sentences in French. Students are also introduced to verb conjugation, grammar and syntax. Each class is a session of 16 hours.

Frenchetvoilalanguage classes are offered in small group classes and one-on-one sessions. Students from k-12, will receive a well-rounded, quality teaching experience that includes reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and speaking in French. In our one-on-one sessions, the instructor works in conjunction with the student’s curriculum requirements, to maximize tutoring sessions.

We will suggest strategies to help you develop, revise, and edit your own work. Our goal is to help you improve your writing skills, by providing help on how to: organize your ideas, express yourself and make convincing arguments.
Frenchy Math Classes

Students who sign up for our French math classes can anticipate tutoring by our current, certified Math teacher. These classes help to engage students in combining numbers with language to improve math computation, vocabulary and instructional French. These classes are particularly popular among younger children and have proven useful for in-school performance.

LEVELS INTENSIVE READING
INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM I
At the end of this course students will be able to:
- Understand the alphabet
- Count from 1-10
- Pronounce French words: vowels, consonants and French diphthongs
- Greet and say goodbye
- Communicate in the classroom with the teacher and other students
- Describe audio French phrases and sentences
At the end of this course students will know:
- Basic colors
- Numbers
- Days and months
- Seasons
- Shapes
At the end of this class students will be able to:
- Pronounce French words: vowels, consonants and French diphthongs
- Start to read words
- Introduce themselves and each other
- Communicate in the classroom with the teacher and other students
Students will know:
- Be able to write the date in French
- Describing the weather for a given day
- The principal parts of the body
- Clothes in French
At the end of this class student will be able to:
- Master French phonics and read French words
- Communicate in the classroom with the teacher and other students
- Know sentences used in class
- Introduce themselves and each other
- Animals
- Describe principal family members
- Classroom vocabulary (pencil, pen, desk, etc.)
- Some Fruits/ vegetables
- Be able to read the time in French
INTENSIVE READING PROGRAM 2
At the end of this class student will be able to:
- Master French phonics
- Recognize common French vocabulary words and phrases
- Communicate in the classroom with the teacher and other students
- Read and write complete sentences
At the end of this course students will know:
- How to use adjectives to enhance the French sentence structure
- Advanced vocabulary in topics such as sports, animals, transport, days of the week/month/year, and career occupations
- Shapes
At the end of this course students will be able to:
- Master basic French phonics and vocabulary
- Recognize and apply complex phonics to words and complete sentences
- Read, write, and say descriptive French sentences incorporating all vocabulary from the intensive sessions.
FRENCH SUMMER LEARNING
Frenchetvoila Summer Learning Program is an 8 weeks program where students build literacy and numeracy skills. Studies have shown that during the summer break students tends to regress academically and lose two months’ worth of academic skills. Attending a summer program once or twice a week can make up for accumulated years of learning loss and set up your child with a strong foundation for a successful start in the fall.
Frenchetvoila Summer Learning Program will help take your child’s French and Math literacy to the next level! The Summer Learning Program will take place at Light House Cowork in Leduc (4810 50th Ave, Leduc, AB T9E 6X9)

FRENCH CONVERSATION FOR ALL AGES!
This group is a place designed for French or English-speaking people, the purpose is to use French in a casual setting. This conversation group, will help you to practice and improve your French language skills, and to get more confidence in general communication. It will be the perfect complement to Frenchetvoila Classes. This social meeting, will be a good opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, to chat around a coffee or a tea includes in the price. We will cover topics of news, theme, sports, or your passions. Vocabulary and Grammar will also be learned.
